Proud to share with you that OPCA United Kingdom member ALLSEAS GLOBAL LOGISTICS LIMITED has successfully completed the transportation of 23 boiler sections ranging from 30 to 80 tonnes via road freight from Immingham to Shepshed (UK).

Below is the exciting story of this trenmendous job:

Their client asked All Seas to support them in the complex road transportation of 23 industrial scale boiler sections, All Seas Team was ready for the challenge. The sections ranged from 30 tonne to 80 tonnes and measured upto 4.5 meters wide.

The oversized cargo was received from a vessel in Immingham (UK) then unloaded and moved utilising their own in-house multi-axel hydraulic trailers. The availability of this specialist equipment created significant cost savings for their customer and established a fast transition from ship to lorry.

The forward journey for the boiler sections was via road freight to Shepshed as components for the development of a new waste plant in Leicestershire.

All Seas project managed the full move which included permit planning, supplying private escorts between locations, port authorisation and haulier management. Co-ordinating the move to ensure the program happened in sequence.
