Import Customs Clearance
Power of Attorney is required from the Consignee. Nothing special, unless the cargo is extremely unique (radioactive, military or of very special technology etc.), which requires special permits / import licences.
In case of high valuable cargo and customs transit some Bond Fee may be applicable (it happens very rare).
Please avoid showing in the documents nothing which suggests wooden packages. It concerns both BL and commercial documents ! The shipments with such information on the BL / commercial documents must be submitted to the Phitosanitary Inspection Authority upon ATD in Poland, which sometimes results in real cargo inspection, extra costs and delays.
Kind suggestion - if possible, please change in the documents "pallets", "cases" etc. to "packages" :)
