402MW project located in UK waters of North Sea
Siemens will supply its 6-megawatt turbines to Statoil and Statkraft’s Dudgeon Offshore wind farm, under a contract valued at US$830 million.
The German manufacturer will produce, deliver and install 67 of its larger capacity turbines. Each turbine is equipped with a 154-meter rotor, the company said in a statement.
The 402-megawatt Dudgeon project is located 32 kilometers north of Cromer in North Norfolk, England, in the North Sea
Installation will start in early 2017.
