Bullocks Freightmasters Manages 916 CBM Breakbulk Project in Australia

We are pleased to highlight another successful project cargo operation completed by our member, Bullocks Freightmasters International, involving the breakbulk shipment and local logistics management of a Semi-Continuous Deodorising Plant destined for Victoria, Australia.

The project involved a substantial industrial shipment consisting of 11 packages, with a total gross weight of 135,615 kg and a total volume of 916.43 m³.

Comprehensive Logistics Coordination in Melbourne

Bullocks Freightmasters managed and coordinated the logistics activities in Melbourne, working closely with the ship’s agent, local stevedores, transport providers, customs authorities, and storage facilities.

The scope extended beyond the initial arrival and handling of the cargo. Throughout the project’s construction phase, the team maintained ongoing storage arrangements, ensuring that individual components remained available in accordance with the client’s building milestones and contractor requirements.

This required continuous coordination between the different parties involved to align cargo availability with the progress of the project.

56-Tonne Critical Component Successfully Delivered

More recently, the client requested the delivery of a critical component from the project cargo.

The unit presented significant dimensions:

• Weight: 56 tonnes
• Length: 25 metres
• Diameter: 4 metres

Bullocks Freightmasters successfully coordinated the transport and delivery of the component, completing the operation without operational issues or delays

The successful delivery represents another important stage in the wider project and demonstrates the team’s ability to manage both large-scale breakbulk shipments and the subsequent movement of individual heavy and oversized components according to project schedules.
