Macro Logistics Executes 330+ MT Cable Drum Project from India to Nigeria

We are pleased to highlight another major project cargo milestone successfully completed by our member, Macro Logistics & Exim Private Limited from India, involving the transportation of 330+ MT of heavy electrical cable drums from India to Nigeria.

The project comprised 35 heavy electrical cables on MS drums, transported using 12 × 40' Flat Rack containers, requiring specialized planning and coordination throughout the operation.

Specialized Planning for Heavy Project Cargo

Managing cargo of this scale requires more than transportation alone. The operation demanded precision planning, careful cargo positioning, rigorous securing, and disciplined operational control across different stages of the supply chain.

Macro Logistics coordinated the project through several key operational areas, including:

The use of 12 Flat Rack containers required careful planning to ensure the 35 heavy cable drums were appropriately positioned and secured throughout transportation.

Strengthening the India–Africa Trade Corridor

Through close coordination and experienced execution, the project was successfully completed, once again demonstrating the importance of detailed planning and teamwork when handling complex and heavy cargo movements.

The achievement further demonstrates Macro Logistics’ capabilities across Heavy Lift, ODC, Breakbulk, and Project Cargo, while strengthening its experience in executing demanding logistics operations along the India–Africa trade corridor.

With more than 330 MT of cargo successfully managed across 12 Flat Rack containers, the project represents another significant addition to Macro Logistics’ project cargo portfolio.
