We are proud to share that Polaris Shipping Agencies LLC, United Arab Emirates project team was busy executing several project shipments recently. They were responsible for receiving of 1 x Rotor with shipping dimensions of 14.328 x 4.500 x 3.880 Mtrs (LxWxH) – 100 MT which was received from under hook heavy lift vessel at Port Khalifa, Abu Dhabi retained on stools/beam support to complete necessary formalities by receivers and subsequently safely delivered to consignee once their processes was completed and factory ready for receiving the heavy lift. Being shipment for one of their prime accounts, Polaris’s scope covered receipt from under hook inward vessel, necessary third-party independent route as well as cargo survey, shifting from discharge berth to temporary storage, final customs clearance and road delivery to receivers which was carried out to the full satisfaction of receivers.



Additionally, above Rotor was shipped on Mv BBC Sapphire and Polaris being agents of BBC Chartering in all Middle East Ports it gives an additional advantage for the receivers to co-ordinate with their team who controls the complete operation avoiding any misunderstanding/operational delay as the entire local operation is being handled by their Agency & Project Departments hand in hand.

Good News...

With the accelerated growth in the Panamanian population, the government started to work on the development of country site cities. Building a water treatment plant to dispatch drinking water for more than 500 thousand families.

The consortium in charge of the project “Water for Everyone” selects UPCARGO Logistics as a Project and Special Cargo company, now their company had responsibility to transport the ductile iron pipes from port to door.

UPCARGO was in charge the local trucking of 1,705 ductile iron pipes 8mts and 1.52 diameter each one from port to the site of discharge. The project was developed in 8.5 days, the team worked 24/7 to achieve their goal and maintain the customer satisfaction.

Their works goes since port inspections, route inspections, studies of cargo diagrams, transport of oversized cargo, heavy cargo, reception of the vessel, day and night work, previous coordination with port, special escorts, cargo insurance.

The steps for this operation were:
1. The reception of the vessel
2. Customs clearance documentation
3. Direct discharge of the pipes (from the vessel to flatbed)
4. The transport of pipes from the port to the site of discharge
5. Discharge the flatbed and stock the pipes



They finished this project without incidents and accidents, and with the satisfaction that working hard as a team help them to be of service to the development and growth of their country.

Good News...

We are proud to share that OPCA member SCT LOGISTICS CO.,LTD, Vietnam has just completed an interesting job in Vinfast factory. The cargo was  from India to Haiphong port. They arranged unloading, moving, erecting, installation and commissioning of 5 packages x 250 tons frame mechanical press. It was executed once there is a blooming covid cases in Vietnam.

Their experienced team handled all the processes with the utmost care and provided an efficient service as usual.
