Could you share the story behind your company’s entry into the freight forwarding industry and how it has evolved over time?

"The BATI name is known in the market as one of the leading and even the first service providers in the transport industry in Türkiye for freight management services. Starting from scratch in 1992 as an intermediary service provider, the company has evolved into one of the most well-diversified logistics companies in Türkiye, accommodating several services such as bulk liquid logistics, project cargo services, warehousing, liner, and port agency services."

Could you highlight key milestones in your company’s history and how your experience has shaped your position in the market today?

There are several milestones in each business unit within BATI, which can be summarized as follows:

• Acceleration of existing Bulk Liquid Logistics Services, with a particular focus on Tank Containers, since 2020.
• Representation of well-known multinational Project Cargo companies within the company since 2020.
• ROLLDOCK commercial and port agency services since 2016.
• PETER’S & MAY agency and the establishment of “BATI YACHT TRANSPORT” (BYT) under a joint venture structure with PETER’S & MAY in 2024.
• Liner Agency services since 2023.
• Increased focus on Port and Husbandry services since 2024.

Which project cargo services do you offer, and what distinguishes your company from other project cargo providers in your country?

BATI provides the following project cargo services:

• Lashing/Securing
• Survey
• Domestic and/or International Heavy Haulage
• Lifting Services
• BB, RORO Freight Management Services
• Chartering Services

ROLLDOCK, specializing in heavy lifting and transport, and PETER’S & MAY, focusing on yacht/boat transportation, are two key principals represented by BATI GROUP of Companies.
