Go Gauge Moves XDR 250 Rig From UAE to India

We are pleased to highlight the remarkable project execution by our member, Go Gauge Logistics (India), who successfully completed the door-to-door movement of an XDR 250 Workover Rig and associated oilfield equipment from Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, to India.

The operation involved a highly complex mix of cargo, including a self-propelled workover rig, catwalks, dismantled booms, pipe magazines, and ladders, all loaded across multiple MAFI trailers before being shipped on a RORO vessel.

Some units extended up to 18 meters in length and 5 meters in width, requiring precision lashing, wooden dunnage, and specialized rigging during dismantling.

Go Gauge’s dedicated team managed full execution from start to finish, covering:

• Cargo survey and technical planning
• Supervision of dismantling
• MAFI handling and securing
• Port coordination and vessel loading
• Temporary import clearance in India

Through careful engineering, tight coordination, and strict adherence to safety and compliance, the shipment was delivered securely and on schedule.
