Challenging Switzerland-to-KSA Project Cargo

Challenging Switzerland-to-KSA Project Cargo

We’re pleased to share another successful, challenging multimodal project by KGE Global Logistics!

Project Overview:

On October 16, 2024, KGE Global transported four traverse beams from Switzerland to Alula, Saudi Arabia, utilizing both air and land transportation. The beams measured 706 x 142 x 193 cm and weighed 4,590 kg each. The total transit time, including transit clearance, was between 3-5 days.

The journey started with land transport from Switzerland to Frankfurt Airport (FRA) in Germany, where cargo inspections were completed before air freight to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh (RUH). Upon arrival in Riyadh, the beams were loaded onto trucks and transported to Alula, KSA.

Project Highlights:

  • Efficient Multimodal Transport: Air cargo makes up 15% of KGE’s operations, demonstrating their expertise in multimodal solutions.
  • Challenging Transit Requirements: Meeting the client’s tight schedule, KGE expertly managed SABER import procedures and customs clearance.
  • Real-Time Tracking: Daily updates provided continuous tracking, ensuring customer satisfaction and transparency.

Once again, KGE Global Logistics managed the entire operation professionally, meeting strict client requirements and achieving safe, on-time delivery. Their UAE branch strengthens their reach into Europe and the CIS, allowing them to deliver exceptional project cargo services globally.
