Satt Line Shipping Handles OOG Shipment from UAE to India
Good News...
OPCA member Satt Line Shipping L.L.C from the United Arab Emirates, has successfully completed the transportation of an out-of-gauge (OOG) shipment from Jebel Ali, UAE to Nhava Sheva, India. The project involved three 40-foot flat rack containers carrying over-width and over-height cargo, along with one 20-foot general-purpose container, showcasing the company’s capability in managing complex freight forwarding operations.
The cargo, consisting of 40TE pulling winches, weighed 24,000 kilograms per container. Due to its oversized dimensions, each unit required special handling, including professional lashing and securing arrangements using external chains to ensure stability and safety during the entire journey. The measurements indicated approximately 75 cm over-height and up to 25 cm over-width, demanding precise engineering and loading expertise.
With meticulous planning and coordination, Satt Line Shipping L.L.C demonstrated its operational strength in OOG and project cargo logistics, ensuring timely delivery between two major ports in the Middle East and South Asia. The successful execution of this shipment reaffirms their commitment to excellence in project cargo handling and international freight forwarding. Congratulations!
